More than music!

Some festivals are all about the line-up.

Voodoo Village feels more like stepping into another little world.

Humbeek Castle looks approvingly over the festival unfolding in its grounds. Different stages are scattered throughout the park and surrounding woods, each with its own atmosphere.

In between the music, there’s a bohemian market, workshops, meditation sessions and plenty of corners where something seems to be happening — even when nobody is behind the decks.

Musically, it wasn’t exactly the techno territory we usually wander into, but there were definitely moments that made us stop, listen and think:

Wait a minute… we could do this!

And perhaps that was our favourite thing to take home from Voodoo Village.

Not a new favourite DJ.
Not a new favourite track.

Just a little more confidence in our own sound — and maybe a glimpse of the kind of atmosphere we’d love to create around it someday. A little wild, a little unexpected, and with enough room to simply get lost in the moment.
